Headway recently held a Professional Learning Opportunity for local lawmakers to increase awareness of the newly established Public Acts 281, 282, and 283. These acts will take effect in December 2017 and have created questions and concerns from local lawmakers and law enforcement officials. To clarify questions and concerns, Headway hosted Ken Stecker from the Michigan Prosecuting Attorneys Association and D.J. Hilson, Muskegon County Prosecutor present on the material.

Training participants walked away with increased knowledge and understanding of the new laws and based on training evaluations, feel more prepared to make decisions at their local municipalities regarding the new laws.

Headway is committed to bringing newly emerging training topics to Newaygo County!
